Think you know your rum? Go beyond the label in Goa at an exclusive Makazai Rum Immersion & Tasting. Led by the founder, enjoy curated bites, guided tastings, and behind-the-scenes storytelling in a 1–1.5 hour experience. Kasturi is the founder of Still Distilling Spirits, crafting India’s first homegrown premium artisanal rum brands—Maka Zai and MESMA—from Goa.

After 16 transformative years in the financial services sector across the UK, India, and Singapore—including 12 years with Standard Chartered Bank—she made a bold pivot in 2020. I didn’t just leave banking; She traded spreadsheets for stills, and numbers for nuanced flavour. Fuelled by a passion for craftsmanship and innovation, she launched Still Distilling Spirits—a startup dedicated to redefining India’s spirits landscape through high-quality, homegrown rum.

This is a Bar where the guests could stay back for dinner on their own, or wander about the neighbourhood and dine at a place of their choice.
