Serendipity x Arles Grant is supported by the French Institute in India

Serendipity Arts Foundation in collaboration with Les Rencontres d’Arles launched Serendipity x Arles Grant in 2020. The grant is the largest of its kind dedicated to lens-based practitioners from South Asia, fostering creative exchange and cross-cultural dialogue through photography, video, new media, and other lens-based practices.

It seeks empower artists from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, providing a platform to develop and showcase their work both regionally and internationally. The 2025 grantees present the outcomes of their creative journeys—sharing new works, performances, and artistic explorations shaped through this opportunity.
