What happens when sound starts to move and movement begins to sing?
Joshua Sailo and Abhaydev Praful open the doors to their live-composition process from Paradox of Platypus, inviting dancers, musicians, interdisciplinary artists, and curious creatures to explore how impulses and vibrations can transform into new forms of communication.
Through guided improvisations, vocalisations, and moments of collective and individual play, we will co-create a framework that encourages play, active listening, spatial negotiation, and spontaneous reactions to dance and make music together.
We will experiment with dissolving the usual borders between sound/body, dancer/musician, structure/intuition, balancing individual freedom with group cohesion as we compose, respond and embody the moment.
